A tractor overturned on a Scottish motorway spreading 6ft of grass on to the road leading to its temporary closure.
The grass took nearly two hours to clear up causing delays on the M898 stretching all the way back to the M8. Traffic Scotland said road closures and the time taken to clear the debris was “due to the amount shed”

Police say they were alerted to the incident at 8:20am on Friday, the road was cleared and reopened by 11:10am.
Traffic queued behind the incident tailed back several miles to the Erskine Bridge
Farmers on Twitter had sympathy for the driver, with one saying they had done the same with “10 tonnes of leeks”.
